01/ Object pronouns.

French subject pronouns are different from the English ones. Let's consider the following table :

Object pronouns Meaning
moi / me / m' me
toi / te / t' you
lui / le / l' him
la / l' / lui her
nous us
vous you
eux / les / leur them

How to use them ?
In English, the object pronouns are placed after the verb but, in the French, they are placed before the verb.
Example

je le vois : I see him.
je la vois : I see her.
je les vois : I see them.
tu me cherches : you look for me.
tu nous entends : you hear us.

Neutral pronouns : Before some subjects begining with a vowel or mute h, we use the neutral pronouns l' , m', t'.
Example :
je l'appelle ce soir : I call him / her to night.
il m'envoie de l'argent : I sends me some money.

The pronoun Lui : the pronoun lui is used after the preposition "à" (at / to) and after some French preposition verbs like :
Donner : to give,
Dire : to say...
Pardonner : to forgive...
Example :
je lui dis la vérité : I tell him / her the truth.
je lui donne quelque chose : I give him / her something.
je leur donne de l'argent : I give them money.

The pronoun "Moi , toi, eux" : these pronouns are used when referring to someone with the emphasis on.
Example :
ce n'est pas moi qui ai fait ça : It's not me who did it.
c'est toi que j'ai vu il y a quelques minutes de cela : It's you that I saw minutes ago.
je parle à eux : I speak to them.
