Les temps et les formes de la conjugaison anglaise


Nous allons à présent apprendre à conjuguer les temps et les formes.

I / Les temps et les formes

Lorsque nous parlons, nous utilisons un temps et une forme de la conjugaison. Ainsi, il y a les temps simples, les temps composés et quatre (04) formes :

Les temps simples :

Le présent simple (simple present), le passé simple (simple past) et le futur simple (simple future). En anglais, on ajoute aux temps simples deux (02) autres temps qui sont : le présent continu (present continuous) et le passé continu (past continuous).

Les temps composés :

Le passé composé (present perfect), le plus-que-parfait (past perfect), le futur antérieur (future perfect) et le conditionnel present / passé (present / past conditional) . En anglais, on ajoute aux temps composés deux (02) autres temps qui sont : le (present perfect continuous) qui se traduit en français par le passé composé et le (past perfect continuous) qui se traduit par le plus-que-parfait.

Les quatre (04) formes :

il y a la forme affirmative (affirmative form), la forme négative (negative form), la forme interrogative (interrogative form) et la forme interronégative (interronegtive form). Peut importe le temps conjugué, on utilise obligatoirement l'une de ces formes.

01Simple present

Nous allons conjuguer le verbe to Walk (Marcher), aux quatre (04) formes.

NB: Pour conjuguer un verbe au présent simple, à la forme affirmative on ajoute « s » au verbe à la troisième personne du singulier (he, she, it). Mais si le verbe se termine par : o, s, ss, sh, ch, x, z ; on intercale un « e » avant le « s », avec les verbes tels que : to go (aller), to finish (finir), to kiss (embrasser). 02Present continuous

A partir d'ici, nous allons juste traduire la première personne "Je". Vous allez faire le reste pour vous permettre de travailler.

Affirmative form

NB: Ici nous avons le présence de l'auxiliaire to be, il est donc facile de former la forme négative, interrogative et interronégation. Ce temps se contracte de la même façon que to be.

Généralement, le présent continu se traduit par le présent simple. Donc, I am walking singfie : "je marche". Mais, ici nous l'avions traduit par "je suis en train de marcher" pour vous permettre de savoir que, le groupe prépositionnel "en train de", en Anglais c'est "ing". Hormis cela, "ing" est aussi un partcipe présent qu'on ajoute au radical du verbe et, il nous permet aussi de former le gérondif. 03Simple future

En ce qui concerne le futur simple, il y a deux futurs: le futur proche (near future) et futur lointain (far future) . Cliquez ici pour tout voir plus le futur proche et lointain. Ici nous allons conjuguer le far future.

04Simple past

En ce qui concerne le passé simple, il y a deux types de verbes, les verbes réguliers (regular verbs) et les verbes irréguliers (irregular verbs) . NB: Le passé continu aussi se traduit par le passé simple ou l'imparfait, tout comme le présent continue qui se traduit par le présent simple. Toutefois, l'on peut traduire :
I was walking par "j'étais en train de marcher".

Tous les temps composés en Anglais sont formés l'aide de l'auxiliaire to have, il est donc facile de former la forme négative, interrogative et interronégation.

04Present conditional

Would est considéré comme le passé de will. Il est utilisé pour parler d'un souhait irréalisable ou d'un regret.

06Present perfect continuous

Nouveau: le present perfect continuous et le past perfect continuous sont des temps qui sont beaucoup utilisés dans la langue parlée. Le present perfect continuous se traduit par le passé composé et le past perfect continuous par le plus-que-parfait.
